About Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a Central American success story. Although largely still an agricultural area, it has expanded it's economy to include large technology and tourism sectors. According to a recent Lonely Planet survey, Costa Rica is the second most visited country in the Americas and recently surpased Hawaii as the number one adventure tourism destination in the world.

Costa Rica has a tropical climate and is known as the "Land of Eternal Spring". Guanacaste, on the northern Pacific coast, is a tropical dry-forest. This remarkable region is low on humidity and has just two seasons. The Green Season, which runs from mid-May to mid-November, is marked by afternoon showers that clear to incredible tropical sunsets while the high season showcases beautiful sunny days from mid-November to mid-May.

Known as the water-sport capital in Central America, Costa Rica's beaches grant access to all types of adventure.
