Blue Dolphin Sailing is a family owned and operated business. We have been working in Tamarindo since 2003 and continue to be involved in the day to day operations of our tours. Your happiness is our priority and we make sure your trip is a great one.
Captain Jeff Herrman is a US Coast Guard certified 100 ton Captain who has been sailing for over 25 years. He first sailed off the coast of Costa Rica in 1994 and has sailed over 25,000 miles in Pacific and Caribbean waters.
Captain Gerardo has over 20 years of experience with the waters around Tamarindo. His intimate knowledge of the area ensures you are in good hands when sailing with him and his easy smile conveys his true "pura vida" attitude.
Our Crew:
Our crew is like family to us and all know the boat and the area as well as anyone on the ocean today. If they are not busy putting the sails up, they will be there making sure you are having a good time, serving drinks or giving an impromptu salsa lesson.
Our managers Keri and Cady will greet you at the beach with a bright smile and on time. Go ahead and just try to make that smile disappear.
